- Select Get help.
- Describe the problem; if self-help does not resolve it, options such as chat or request a call may be offered.
From a Windows PC signed in with a Microsoft personal account:
- Open the Get Help app (search for “Get Help” from Start).
- Type a brief description of the issue.
- If the suggested solutions do not help, select Contact support.
- Choose the affected product/service and confirm.
- When prompted for contact options, select Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
For Outlook.com or Microsoft account issues via web:
- Sign in to Outlook.com.
- Select Help on the menu bar.
- Enter the issue in the box.
- If self-help does not solve it, scroll to Still need help? and select Yes.
