Hi @Jenny
Regarding your issue, something went wrong. [657rx]" when trying to log into your OneDrive account typically arises from a conflict with outdated or corrupted authentication tokens stored locally on your computer.
Here are a few steps you can try:
- Remove the Account from Windows
- Go to Start > Settings > Accounts.
- Select Access work or school.
-
- Find the account associated with the error and click Disconnect.
-
- Restart your computer.
- Clear the Windows Credentials Manager
- Open the Control Panel and go to User Accounts > Credential Manager.
- Select Windows Credentials.
- Remove any Microsoft/Office‑related credentials.
-
- Restart your PC.
- Reopen OneDrive and try adding your account again.
- Clear the AAD Broker Plugin Cache
- Sign out of all Microsoft 365 apps:
- Log out of OneDrive, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc., and close them completely.
- Open File Explorer and type: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker\Accounts
- Select all files and folders in the Accounts folder and delete them. (These are cached authentication tokens and will be recreated after successful sign-in.)
- Restart your PC.
- Try signing into OneDrive again.
- Re-register the Device
- Try to sign in with your email and password.
- When the prompt asks "Stay signed in to all your apps" or "Allow my organization to manage my device," ensure the box is checked and click OK.
Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
