A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Dear @Leah Chang,
I understand how concerning this situation is, especially when important files were stored in a business OneDrive account that is no longer active. When a Microsoft 365 business or work account (including accounts ending onmicrosoft.com) is cancelled or deleted, access to OneDrive is removed, but the data is not always deleted immediately.
If the company account or tenant was only recently cancelled or expired, the OneDrive data may still be recoverable. In this case, the best option is to contact the previous company's IT administrators and ask them to temporarily restore the account or reassign a license so the files can be downloaded or shared. This is usually the fastest and most reliable way to recover the data. For reference: Restore a user in the Microsoft 365 admin center
Note: Business OneDrive data cannot be automatically transferred into a personal Microsoft account
