    Welcome Zaid Ahmed!

    Thank you for reaching out.

Based on what you described, when you click Sign in in the Minecraft Launcher, the Gaming Services sign‑in window briefly opens and then closes without completing the sign‑in. You can try the suggestions below:

Method 1: Reset Microsoft Store cache

The Minecraft Launcher uses Microsoft Store components for sign‑in, and a corrupted cache can cause the sign‑in window to close immediately. Please try this:

Press Win + R > type wsreset > press Enter > wait for the Store to open > restart the PC and try signing in again.

Method 2: Verify date, time, and time zone

Go to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time, enable Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically, click Sync now, then restart and test again.

Method 3: Temporarily disable third‑party security software

Some third‑party antivirus, firewall, or VPN tools may block Xbox sign‑in components, causing the window to close instantly.

Temporarily disable any third‑party security software, restart the PC, and test sign‑in.

Hope one of these could help. Please let me know how it goes!

Follow these steps to troubleshoot the sign-in issue from the Minecraft launcher when the Xbox Gaming Services window flashes and closes:

    1. Restart the PC
    • A simple restart can clear temporary issues with services required for sign-in.
    1. Update or repair Gaming Services Gaming Services is required for Xbox sign-in on Windows and can get into a bad state.
    1. Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
    2. Run this command to remove Gaming Services for all users:
    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    1. In the same PowerShell window, run:
    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    1. Microsoft Store will open on the Gaming Services page. Install it again and accept any UAC prompts.
    2. After installation completes, try signing in from the Minecraft launcher again.
    1. Ensure the Xbox app is installed and up to date The Xbox app and Gaming Services work together for sign-in.
    1. Make sure the PC is in the normal RETAIL environment (not any dev sandbox).
    2. Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
    3. Run:
    get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    1. Then run:
    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z

    1. Install the Xbox app from Microsoft Store.
    2. Launch the Xbox app from Start, and try signing in there first.
    3. Once sign-in works in the Xbox app, close it and try signing in again from the Minecraft launcher.
    1. Check internet connection
    • On the Windows sign-in or lock screen, select Network and verify the PC is online.
    • If Wi‑Fi is unstable, test with a wired Ethernet connection or verify the router works using another device.

If Gaming Services and the Xbox app are both reinstalled/updated and sign-in works in the Xbox app but not in Minecraft, the issue is likely specific to the launcher and may require game-specific support, but the above steps resolve most Gaming Services sign-in loops.
