    Hi Liaqat Zaman

I understand how confusing it can be when sent emails don’t appear where you expect them to in Outlook.

Have you already tried the Q&A Assist suggestions yet? In addition, please try these steps in Classic Outlook:

    1. Go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings"
    2. Select your Gmail IMAP account > "Change"
    3. If available, disable saving copies of sent items
    4. Restart Outlook and allow time to resync

This lets Gmail manage Sent Mail consistently and avoids confusion or missing items

Looking forward to your reply so I can assist you further. Thank you for your understanding.

    Hello,

Is Gmail manually configured in Outlook using POP or IMAP or have you used a sign in method?

To troubleshoot the issue we need this information.

    Please keep me updated.

In classic Outlook, the Sent Items folder only shows messages that Outlook itself sends. Messages sent directly from Gmail on the web are not automatically copied into Outlook’s Sent Items; they stay in Gmail’s own Sent Mail folder on the server.

To see those messages in classic Outlook, the Gmail account must be added as an IMAP account and syncing correctly so Outlook can display Gmail’s Sent Mail folder. If Gmail IMAP is not connecting or syncing, follow these steps from the troubleshooting guidance:

    1. Confirm the Gmail account is added as an IMAP account in classic Outlook (not as another type).
    2. If Outlook is not syncing messages and folders, verify the correct account type is used for the address and that the account setup completed successfully.
    3. If Outlook never asked for a password when the Gmail IMAP account was added, open the account’s IMAP settings and make sure Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is unchecked.
    4. If that does not help, re-add the account from Control Panel:
      • Open Control PanelMailEmail Accounts...New.
      • Enter name, Gmail address, and password in both password boxes, then select Next and complete setup.

Once the Gmail IMAP account is correctly configured and syncing, Outlook will show Gmail’s server folders (including Sent Mail). Sent messages from Gmail web will appear in that Gmail Sent folder in Outlook, not in any separate local Sent Items folder.
