Dear Godfrey Matombo [ MTN South Africa ]
Have you tried selecting Repair now yet? If that doesn’t work, please try the following steps:- In the Windows search bar, type Control Panel, open it, then select Uninstall a program.
- Locate Microsoft Office, right‑click it, choose Change, and then try Quick Repair or Online Repair.
- After that, please test again.
You can also start Visio in Safe Mode to test copy/paste behavior: Press Windows + R, type visio /safe, then press Enter.
If copy‑paste works correctly in Safe Mode, the issue is likely caused by an add‑in. In that case, you can disable add‑ins one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
Additionally, please let me know:
- Does the issue also occur if you open a brand‑new blank Visio document?
- Is Visio fully up to date?
The steps above are basic troubleshooting. If the issue is still not resolved, could you help confirm:
- Does this happen with only one file or multiple files?
- Which Visio version are you using?
- Which Windows version are you running?
Thanks for the details. I look forward to your reply so we can continue troubleshooting together.
