Subscription issue

I desperately need to talk to an operative please.

I had a Microsoft 365 subscription for work purposes and I have just been charged for another year however I actually retired in November 2025 and no longer have a requirement for it.

I realise its my own fault for forgetting to cancel the subscription but could I please cancel it with immediate effect and have my payment refunded? I only have a state pension to live on and this is a really big hit for me. I have been unable to work out how to cancel the subscription going forward (possibly due to my heightened state of panic at losing £104) so if you could also help me with this too I would be very grateful.

To be honest even using this website has been stress inducing as I cannot find a 'contact us' button or a direct email address to be able to talk to a person.

Hello Stefan Unfortunately your response is confusing. It is a personal account not an actual business account. I have tried to access the support website you mention with no avail and the telephone number Im being told is incorrect

Thanks for the follow-up. You said you used the account for work and therefore I assumed (incorrectly, apparently!) that it was an organization (business) subscription.

Personal accounts are often set up with @outlook.com or @hotmail.com accounts, but it would be possible to use third-party e-mails, such as @gmail.com, instead. These types of subscriptions can be cancelled via https://account.microsoft.com/services . If you are the admin for the business subscription, you should be able to cancel via https://admin.microsoft.com. If necessary, contact business support by telephone. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 .
