    Hi!

You can access https://account.microsoft.com/services > Sign in with the account that Microsoft 365 is linked to > If M365 appears here, it indicates that everything is ok.

If it doesn't appear, try redeeming it through this link: https://setup.office.com/

After redeeming, access https://account.microsoft.com/services again > Click on Install Desktop Versions... > Install > After downloading, install the product, open Word or Excel and sign in with your account again.

Regarding recurring billing, if the payment method option doesn't appear in Subscriptions, perhaps recurring billing is not activated or was purchased from a third-party store (you should change this in the third-party store).

To check that the product key was applied and to make sure the subscription will not auto‑renew, use two steps: verify activation, then manage the subscription/billing.

    1. Confirm the product key was used and the subscription is active
      • Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used when entering the product key.
      • Under Services & subscriptions, look for Microsoft 365.
      • Check:
        • The product shows as Active.
        • The expiration date (for example, sometime in 2027 if it’s a multi‑year key).
      • If Microsoft 365 does not appear or does not show as active, the key may not have been redeemed correctly. In that case, follow the guidance in Where to enter your Office product key and Using product keys with Microsoft 365, or contact Microsoft Support via the links in those articles.
    2. Turn off auto‑renew / remove credit card billing
      • On the same Services & subscriptions page, find the Microsoft 365 subscription.
      • If it is set to auto‑renew, there will be an option like Manage or Turn off recurring billing.
      • Select Manage, then choose Cancel subscription or Turn off recurring billing so that it will end on the date shown instead of charging the card again.
      • After turning off recurring billing, the page should show that the subscription will expire on a specific date and will not renew.

If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Apple or another retailer), auto‑renewal must be managed through that provider’s account/billing settings instead of the Microsoft account site.

If there are still issues with the product key or billing status after these steps, contact Microsoft Support using the Microsoft support links in the referenced articles for direct assistance.
