Will Teams incoming webhooks stop delivering alerts after M365 connector deprecation?

We have a production monitoring system that sends real-time alerts to Microsoft Teams channels using incoming webhook connectors. These alerts are business-critical (incident response, system outages), and there is no fallback mechanism in place.

With the announced deprecation of Microsoft 365 connectors, we need to understand whether existing webhook endpoints will stop functioning or be throttled/degraded. Any disruption would directly impact our incident response process.

Is there a confirmed cutoff date for incoming webhooks, and what is the recommended migration path that ensures zero downtime

    Hi @Srinivasan Neha

Based on my research, the latest confirmed retirement date for Office 365 Connectors is April 30, 2026.

Microsoft’s recommended approach is to transition from Office 365 Connectors to Teams Workflows, which provide a supported and more flexible way to continue delivering notifications and alerts in Microsoft Teams.
