How to renew my E5 program after completely expired ?

Based on Microsoft document, the qualification and renewal process for Microsoft 365 Developer Program tenants is fully automated and based on predefined algorithms and telemetry. 

If a developer subscription has fully expired and been deleted, it cannot be renewed. In this scenario, the only supported option is to request a new Microsoft 365 Developer Program subscription.  

I recommend reviewing the Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ especially the following sections, for more detailed eligibility information: 

-Who qualifies for a Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription? 

-What account can I use to sign up for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program? 

For your reference, after a subscription expires:

-There is a 30-day grace period during which data can still be migrated

-This is followed by another 30 days with limited admin access

-After 60 days, the subscription and all associated data are permanently deleted

Since developer tenants are intended for development and testing purposes only, it is recommended to maintain backups of any important data and configurations outside of the tenant.

A Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription cannot be renewed after it has completely expired and been deleted.

For Microsoft 365 Developer Program tenants:

1. The standard E5 developer subscription is short-lived (up to 90 days) and renews only based on valid development activity.
2. If the subscription expires and passes the data-retention window, the tenant and all data are deleted and cannot be renewed.
3. After deletion, the only option is to request/set up a new Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription if still eligible for the program.
4. To keep a developer subscription from expiring in the future, it must be actively used for qualified development activity. If linked to a qualifying Visual Studio standard Professional or Enterprise subscription, it will renew automatically for as long as that Visual Studio subscription remains active.

If a longer-lived environment is needed, use a Visual Studio standard Professional or Enterprise subscription and link the developer tenant so it renews automatically.
