Migrate GitHub Certs to MS Learn

I already taken some GH certs on PSI and need to sync these to MS Learn.

GitHub certifications taken through PSI are Microsoft credentials and should appear in the Certifications area of the Microsoft Learn profile, but there can be delays or profile/linking issues.

Use these steps:

1. Confirm the correct Learn profile
   • Sign in to the Learn profile using the same personal or work account intended for certifications.
   • Verify the Learn Username and that this is the profile used for other Microsoft credentials.
2. Check for multiple Learn profiles and merge if needed
   • If there are multiple Learn profiles (for example, one with a work account and one with a personal account), merge them so all credentials are in one place.
   • To merge:
     1. Sign in to one Learn profile.
     2. In account management, choose Add login account.
     3. If that login is tied to another Learn profile, a profile merge is triggered and all learning progress and credentials are combined. This action cannot be undone.
3. Allow for processing time
   • It can take 24–48 hours after passing an exam for results to appear on the Learn profile.
4. If certifications are still missing
   • Follow the guidance in the missing-certifications article referenced in the Q&A posts to troubleshoot.
   • If the GH certifications still do not appear after the expected time and profile merge checks, submit a support request through the credentials/certifications support channel so support can investigate the PSI exam records against the Learn profile.

Note: Exams and certifications earned through Certiport do not currently sync to Microsoft Learn and must be managed via the Certiport account, but this does not apply to PSI-based GitHub exams.
