Welcome barbara charlebois,
I understand how frustrating it can be when you are seeing an “il.exe – Entry Point Not Found” error and are unable to email scanned documents or files from OneDrive, and that recent photos from your iPhone are also not loading on your Windows 10 PC.
Before we go further, please help narrow this down with the following questions:
- Which app are you using to send the scanned document by email (for example, Mail app, Outlook, or a scanner software)?
- Are you signed in to OneDrive and the email app using a personal Microsoft account, or a work or school account?
In the meantime, you can try the step below to troubleshoot the issue:
Step 1: Restart the computer and try the action again to rule out a temporary system issue.
Step 2: Open Settings > Apps > Apps and features, select the Mail and Calendar app, choose Advanced options, and select Repair.
Step 3: Check for Windows updates by opening Settings > Update & Security, and selecting Check for updates. Install any pending updates.
Step 4: Sign in to OneDrive in a web browser at https://onedrive.live.com and confirm you can upload and download files there successfully.
Step 5: Disconnect and reconnect your iPhone using a USB cable, then open the Photos app on Windows and see if new photos load.
Step 6: Run a system file check
- Open Command Prompt (run as administrator) from the Start menu
- Run:
sfc /scannow - Then restart the PC after it completes.
I hope this information helps resolve your issue. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me again in this thread.
