    Hello Janet Morgan

The number of devices you can install Microsoft 365 on depends on your subscription plan. In general, most Microsoft 365 plans allow a single user to install Office applications on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets, and five mobile phones, which can total up to 15 devices.

You may refer to the official documentation here for more details: Understand subscriptions and licenses in Microsoft 365 for business

    In addition:

Most Microsoft 365 plans follow this per-user installation model.

For business plans, you can assign licenses to multiple users (up to 300 users for small/medium business plans), allowing organizations to cover a large number of devices overall.

Enterprise plans (such as E3 or E5) typically do not impose a strict user cap, so the total number of supported devices depends on how many licenses are purchased.

To better assist you, could you please let me know which specific license you currently have (or are planning to use)?
