    Hi Mohamed Magdy,

Based on your description, it seems the issue is occurring in the Microsoft Teams desktop app, where your account is associated with both a home organization and a guest organization, but only one organization appears at a time. If that’s correct, please try the steps below:

1/ Check using the web app

    • Go to teams.microsoft.com in an Incognito/InPrivate browser window and sign in with your account.
    • If the guest organization appears, the issue is likely related to the desktop app cache.
    • If it does not appear, the issue may be related to the guest invitation or tenant permissions.

In that case, please ask the guest organization admin to:

    • Reconfirm that your guest account is still active
    • Remove and re-invite your account
    • Once you receive the invitation email, open and accept it in a private browser window

2/ Sign out and sign back in

    • Sign out of Teams. It is also recommended to sign out of all work or school accounts in Windows: Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
    • Fully quit the app
    • Reopen Teams and sign in again

4/ Remove cached work account credentials

    • Open Control Panel
    • Go to Credential Manager
    • Select Windows Credentials
    • Remove entries related to:
      • Teams
      • MicrosoftOffice
      • ADAL
      • AzureAD
    • Then restart the PC and try signing in again.

    3/ Update Teams

Ensure you are using the latest version of the Teams desktop app.

    4/ Clear Teams cache

Please follow the steps in the article below to clear the Teams cache, as cached data may sometimes cause tenant visibility issues: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/microsoftteams/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache

I hope the information above is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

In Microsoft Entra-based portals (including those used behind Microsoft Teams), home and guest organizations are shown per the tenant that is currently being used. The behavior described is expected:

    • When signing in to the home tenant, only the home organization and any other organizations associated with that home account are shown.
    • When signing in directly to the guest tenant, that tenant becomes the active organization, so it appears as the current organization and the home tenant does not show as a “guest” there.

To see and move between both organizations with the same work or school account, use the organization switcher instead of signing in separately to each tenant:

    1. Go to the My Account portal and sign in with the work or school account.
    2. Use the organization switcher at the top of the page (next to the account photo) to switch between organizations that account belongs to.
    3. Alternatively, select Organizations in the left navigation to see:
      • Home organization (cannot be left).
      • Other organizations (tenants where the account is a guest and can be left if needed).

In Teams and other apps that rely on the same identity, switching organizations/tenants is done by changing the active organization rather than seeing both home and guest organizations listed at the same time.

If a tenant where guest access is expected does not appear at all in the Organizations list, the admin of that tenant must ensure the account has been invited as a guest and that external collaboration is allowed.
