Were having an issue where some of the map is not being populated and the file states 0% accuracy on location/map plotting, which usually would be around 97% - as far as i know, nothing with the custom file has changed

as you can see in the image below, there are multiple gaps on the map

    Hello @Hannah,

Based on the image and your description, the issue might relate to Excel 3D Maps is failing to match your location data, which is why the map shows gaps, and the location accuracy is reported as 0%.

For my recommendation, there are some possible solutions for you to check if it can resolve the issue:

1/ Check Bind Maps/Online service issue

Navigate to Excel > Account > Manage Settings under Account Privacy tab > select “Turn on optional connected experiences”

2/ Custom Region mapping is no longer valid

In Excel, navigate to Home > Refresh Data > re-apply Custom Regions if they are still needed.

For further instruction regarding to Refresh Data, kindly visit: Get and prep your data for 3D Maps - Microsoft Support

    3/ Testify on small postcodes

Copy 10 postcodes that you know should plot

Paste them into a new blank Excel file

    Create a new 3D Map

    Plot only those postcodes

If all the steps work, the issue might relate to data formatting, map configuration, or environment and service issues.

In case all steps have passed but the issue persists, kindly provide more information so that I can investigate further:

1/ Which Excel version are you using?

2/ Whether this worked recently on the same machine

3/ Can this file work normally on another device?

4/ If able, can you provide a screenshot of your Excel sheet?
