Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi @Gracia Daisy,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback.
Calendar visibility is such an important part of daily collaboration, and it makes complete sense to raise this when a change impacts how teams work together.
Schedule View in classic Outlook has been an especially valuable feature for coordinating multiple people at once, and many teams rely on it every day. In the new Outlook experience, that same capability is not yet available, and this has understandably made scheduling more complicated for customers who depend on seeing several calendars at a glance.
While Schedule View is not yet available in the new Outlook, there are a few alternative approaches that may help with managing and comparing multiple calendars in the meantime. They are not perfect replacements, but some customers have found them useful for daily coordination.
1/ Use Split view for side by side scheduling across multiple calendars
- Open Calendar in the new Outlook.
- In the left navigation pane, select the checkboxes for each colleague’s calendar you want to review together.
- Use Split view to display calendars side by side, then switch to Day or Work week to make daily coordination easier when managing many people.
- If you need to compare more calendars than fit on screen, keep Split view and scroll through the set while staying on the same date range.

2/ Use Overlay mode to consolidate multiple calendars into one combined timeline
- In Calendar, select the calendars you want to compare from the navigation pane.
- Select Open in New Window, then choose View in Overlay Mode to stack calendars into a single view with color separation.
- When you want to remove one calendar from the stack, select that calendar tab and switch it back to side by side mode, or simply clear its checkbox in the navigation pane.
3/ Continue using classic Outlook for Schedule View while providing feedback on the new Outlook
- If Schedule View is essential to daily work, many organizations continue using classic Outlook for scheduling while adopting the new Outlook for other tasks.
- At the same time, submitting feedback through the new Outlook is important to keep this request visible to the product team. Including details such as the number of calendars managed and the impact on team coordination can make the feedback more meaningful.
- If others in your organization are affected, encouraging them to submit similar feedback can further highlight the business impact. Requests like yours are common among users with calendar‑heavy workflows and genuinely help inform future product decisions.
As the new Outlook continues to evolve, customer feedback plays a key role in prioritizing improvements. The most effective next step is to submit your feedback through the Outlook new feedback channel and add your vote to the existing community request. Please add Schedule View in New Outlook calendar? · Community.Higher visibility and clear business context can help the product team assess future priorities.
Thank you for sharing how this affects your day‑to‑day work. Please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.
Wishing you a smooth rest of your day.
