    Dear @Satyabrata Sur,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you’re unable to sign in to the Azure portal because your tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. You’re seeing the error code AADSTS5000225, and you’re also unable to reach Microsoft support through the provided helpline number. You’re looking for guidance on why this happened and how to restore access to your tenant.

The error message 'AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity' indicates that your Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) tenant was automatically blocked by Microsoft because there was no sign‑in or subscription activity for an extended period. This is part of Microsoft’s Tenant Lifecycle Policy, which helps protect unused tenants.

To reactivate a blocked tenant, Microsoft requires direct assistance from the support team. Kindly follow these steps:

    • Contact Microsoft through global support phone numbers to request tenant reactivation. (scroll down for business users)
(Important Note: Sometimes, you would hear the computer-generated voice at first, please kindly wait for it to end, and if an agent is available, you would be directed to them and get your support. Depending on your country or region, when you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "You can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help.)
    • Once you’ve submitted a support request, avoid creating additional cases while your current request is being reviewed. Submitting multiple requests can slow down the investigation and delay a final decision.

Microsoft support will review your tenant’s status and confirm whether reactivation is possible and what steps, if any, are required from your side.

Please note that this is a community forum where users help one another. We do not have control over user accounts, including login issues, password resets, or access changes.

Thank you for your time and patience!
