    Hi Sakha Alfarizi Sulkarnain,

It seems that your pen is not compatible with HP Pen Control.

I quote this from How do I install HP Pen Control app to my device, for connecting the pen to my device.

Disclaimer: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate and safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

HP Pen Control is not (cannot be) used to connect a pen to the computer. Pen Control is an application that supports the buttons on the pen. If the pen is compatible with your computer, the pen should work regardless of whether you use HP Pen Control to configure the buttons.

In your case, if you cannot connect your laptop to the pen, then installing HP Pen Control does not help.

To know more about pens that are compatible with your laptop model, please navigate to HP support page or contact HP so they can give you best advice.

I hope that above information is helpful to you.

    1

Was your laptop supplied with a pen for the screen, or if you purchased a pen did that ever work on your touchscreen.

    2

There are many versions of that laptop model, I need some more information about the hardware n that laptop.

Click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

Windows 11 supports digital pens only on devices whose hardware digitizer is designed for pen input. A device can have “Pen and touch support with 10 touch points” and still not include a compatible active-pen digitizer for apps like HP Pen Control.

The message “No supported device found / HP Pen Control is not compatible with this computer” indicates that HP’s software does not detect a supported HP active pen/digitizer in the system. In that case:

    1. The laptop likely supports touch only (finger input, 10‑point multi‑touch) but not an active HP pen, or
    2. It uses a different pen technology that HP Pen Control does not manage.

Windows 11 itself can work with a digital pen on a pen‑capable PC or tablet, but the PC must have the correct hardware. If the hardware is touch‑only, installing pen-configuration utilities will not enable pen support.

To proceed, check the exact HP model documentation to confirm whether it is marketed as “pen-enabled” or “supports active stylus.” If it is not, only touch will be available. If it is pen-enabled, use the specific pen model and configuration tools recommended by HP for that exact model rather than HP Pen Control from the Store.
