Microsoft Teams Cannot be opened on Macbook

Hi,

I have been trying to solve this issue for months with no success, and I'm at the end of my rope. Microsoft Teams simply won't open on my computer. I've attached a screenshot of the message I get when I try to open the application.

I'm using a Macbook M1 Pro, running Ventura 13.2.1. I've installed Teams, uninstalled it, deleted all cache, reinstalled, done everything I can. Microsoft also won't allow me to join meetings online. This company is making my life hell. Please please help me solve this.

    Hi @Prado Luiza,

    From what you described, it looks like you’re using the Microsoft Teams desktop app on a MacBook M1 Pro running macOS Ventura 13.2.1. Based on Microsoft’s official guidance: System requirements for the Teams client - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn, the Teams desktop client for macOS is only supported on the three most recent macOS versions (Tahoe, Sequoia and Sonoma).

    Because of that, there’s a good chance the macOS version is playing a role in why Teams won’t open. I’d recommend having a look at Microsoft’s official article on Teams system requirements for macOS to confirm whether your current OS version is still supported.

    The New Teams client is no longer supported on Mac OS Ventura. According to the official support article, Teams is supported on the latest 3 Mac OS versions.

    The 3 latest Mac OS versions are currently: macOS Tahoe, Sequoia and Sonoma.
