Are you seeing ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK in the URL when you try and schedule the exam?

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The "Unexpected error" when trying to schedule a Microsoft certification exam is commonly caused by a Pearson VUE account block (often due to multiple failed payment attempts) or an issue that must be resolved by support.

    To proceed:

    1. Contact Pearson VUE support and ask them to check whether your account has an ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK or any other restriction, and request that they remove it. Use the Pearson VUE contact options provided for Microsoft exams: https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/microsoft.html#contact
    2. If the problem persists or you cannot reach Pearson VUE, contact Microsoft Certification Support so they can investigate the scheduling issue and coordinate with Pearson VUE if needed: https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport or the help page at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help

Once the block or account issue is cleared, retry scheduling the exam from the certification dashboard.
