OneNote issue

Hi there, I attempted to submit this via the official product feedback, and then complaint forms earlier, but it wouldn't go through and kept showing an error—go figure!

I’m writing regarding a display issue in the OneNote app on Mac that has been occurring for about a month. The section headers on the left are being truncated and won't show the full title, even after I've maximised the column width. For instance, 'Meeting Notes 2026 May' appears as 'Meeting no...', despite there being more than enough screen space available.

If you would like to submit this directly to the OneNote product team, you can do so within the application by going to: OneNote > Help > Feedback > Report a Problem

I also found that some other users have previously reported similar behavior involving truncated section or page titles in OneNote for Mac, so you may not be the only one experiencing this issue.

I attempted to reproduce the issue on my environment using version 16.109 (26051019) running on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 (a), but it worked as expected on my side.

This suggests the behavior may not occur consistently across all environments. To help narrow down the issue further, could you please provide a few additional details?

• Your macOS version
• Your OneNote version
• Whether the issue started after a macOS update or Office/OneNote update
• Whether the same behavior also occurs in OneNote on the web

These details may help determine whether the issue is related to a specific build or environment.
