In an Outlook email table, column sizing is controlled the same way as in Word tables.

To automatically size a column to its contents:

1. Click anywhere in the table in the email body.
2. Go to the Layout tab that appears for the table (Table Tools).
3. In the Cell Size group, select AutoFit.
4. Choose AutoFit Contents to automatically adjust column widths to fit the text.

To automatically size the whole table to the message window:

1. Select the table.
2. On the Layout tab, in Cell Size, select AutoFit.
3. Choose AutoFit Window to fit the table to the email’s editing area.

To manually adjust a single column instead:

1. Rest the cursor on the right edge of the column you want to resize until it becomes the resize cursor.
2. Drag the boundary until the column is the desired width.
