    Hi Carlyne McCall

I understand that after deleting your emails, you’re no longer receiving new messages, and you also recently changed your phone number. Firstly, please answer a quick question to narrow this down:

    • Are you able to send emails normally, or is that also failing?

Based on your description, this could be related to account settings or sign‑in/security changes. You can try the steps below:

1, Check blocked senders / rules

It’s possible emails are being blocked or redirected:

    • Go to Outlook on the web > Settings > Mail > Junk email
    • Review “Blocked senders and domains” and remove anything important
    • Then go to Mail > Rules and delete any rule that moves or deletes incoming mail

Also, if senders are not trusted, emails may be blocked or filtered:

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email
    • Add important senders to “Safe senders and domains”

2, Verify your account is still receiving mail

Send a test email from another account (e.g., Gmail or another Outlook account).

    • If it doesn’t arrive, continue with the next steps
    • If it arrives, the issue may be sender‑specific

    3, Check storage quota

Sometimes after deleting many emails, storage hasn’t fully synced yet:

    • Scroll to the bottom of your mailbox
    • Check if it shows “Mailbox full” or near limit
    • If yes, go to Deleted Items > click Empty folder

    4, Review your security info

If your phone number was recently changed, it might affect account verification:

5, Check Focused Inbox / filters

Emails may still be arriving but going to a different tab:

    • Switch between “Focused” and “Other” tabs in your inbox
    • Also check folders like Archive, Junk Email, and Deleted Items
    • Try using the search bar with the sender’s email

6, Check message filters / sorting

    Filters can hide newer emails:

    • At the top of the inbox, ensure it’s set to “All” (not “Unread” or “Flagged”)
    • Click Filter > Sort > Date to ensure newest messages appear first

I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know how it goes and thank you for your understanding.
