    Dear @Mary Nehme,

I understand how frustrating it is when OneDrive gets stuck on "processing changes," especially when important documents haven't synced since May 12. Let's get this resolved for you.

Often, this happens when a specific file is locked, contains invalid characters, or if the OneDrive cache needs a quick reset. To help me narrow down the exact cause and find the right solution, could you check a few quick things for me?

    • Is it one file or many? If you click the blue or white OneDrive cloud icon in your taskbar/menu bar, does it list a specific file name that it is currently stuck on?
    • Where are you editing? Are these files stored in your personal OneDrive, or a shared corporate SharePoint/Teams library?
    • Does the web version work? If you sign in to office.com portal and access your OneDrive, could you find your documents?

While you check on those details, I recommend trying these two quick steps, which resolve most syncing hang-ups:

Step 1: Close and Restart OneDrive

    • Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon > Close OneDrive. Then open your Start menu, type "OneDrive," and relaunch it.

Step 2: Check for File Name Issues

Make sure none of the files waiting to sync contain unsupported characters like *<, >, :, ", |, ?, *, /, * or have a file path that is too long (over 400 characters). Please refer this document: Restrictions and limitations in OneDrive and SharePoint - Microsoft Support

According to official Microsoft support guidelines, restarting the application or clearing a stuck file path is the quickest way to kickstart a stalled sync queue.
