I have already changed the language three times to Ukrainian, added the region three times, the address also, and the language in which the letters with the login confirmation come is Russian! Do something about it!

I already have a password and email address. How much longer can you dance with a tambourine before you figure out that there must be a more convenient way to change the language. Because Ukrainians are not pleased to receive letters in the language of the aggressor

    Hi Larysa Samkovska

I understand how frustrating it is when the account language is set to Ukrainian, but verification emails are still coming in another language.

Have you already tried the Q&A Assist suggestions?

In addition, if you are experiencing issues while following those prompts, you can go directly to https://account.microsoft.com/security > "Manage how I sign in" and add a new verification method first (please do not remove the existing one yet). Then select “Add another way to sign in to your account” and add a new email while your account language is set to Ukrainian.

After that, please test the verification again:

    • Sign out and trigger a new sign-in verification
    • Check if the message now arrives in Ukrainian

Important: Avoid removing all security methods at the same time, as this may temporarily restrict your account.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes so I can assist you further. Thanks for your time and understanding.

Verification emails are sent in the language that was set for the security info (phone/email) at the time it was added. Changing the account display language, region, or address later does not change the language of existing security info messages.

To get verification messages in Ukrainian instead of Russian, the security info must be removed and then added again while the account language is set to Ukrainian:

    1. Start a sign-in that requires a verification code.
    2. When prompted to use existing phone/email security info, select I don't have any of these.
    3. Follow the prompts to add new security info (phone or email) while using the desired language (Ukrainian) for the account.
    4. After re-adding, future verification messages for that new security info will be sent in Ukrainian.

Important: Do not remove all security info at once. If all security info is changed at the same time, the account can be restricted for 30 days.
