Hello Rodolfo Augusto Adrianzen Brocq,
Greetings! Thanks for raising this question in Q&A forum.
This is a very common question among beta exam takers, and the short answer is you need to be patient, as beta exams work quite differently from regular exams!
Here's why there's a delay: When you take a beta exam like AI-901, Microsoft doesn't score it immediately. They first need to collect responses from hundreds of candidates, analyze the data, evaluate the quality of each question, and then finalize the passing score. Only after all of this is done are results released to everyone.
Here's what you can expect in terms of the timeline:
When you complete a beta exam, you won't receive a score immediately because the scoring model for the exam is not yet finalized.
Beta exam scores are released about 10 days after the exam goes live, which is typically 10–12 weeks after the beta period begins and can take up to around 14 weeks depending on when you took the exam within the beta window.
- During this waiting period, don't be alarmed if your Microsoft Learn dashboard shows no result or even a "failed" message this is completely normal and does not reflect your actual result.
Once the exam goes live globally, final scores are typically released about 10 days after the exam is live. Until that rescore is complete, the system may show no result or generic failure-style messaging, and no certificate or email is issued.
Once results are released, you'll receive an email notification and your result will appear in your Microsoft Learn profile under the Credentials/Certifications section.
- The great news is passing a beta exam counts as a real certification. You don't need to retake the exam in its final version, and a certification earned through a beta exam is identical to one earned through the live version.
So simply sit tight, keep an eye on your registered email inbox, and check your Microsoft Learn profile after the 10–14 week window. There is nothing extra you need to do on your end right now!
