Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To stop the PicsArt charges and cancel the subscription, follow these steps based on how it was originally billed.
- Confirm where the PicsArt subscription was purchased
- Go to your Microsoft Store order history and check if the PicsArt subscription appears there. If it does not appear, it was likely billed through a non-Microsoft platform (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, or another in‑app billing system).
- Guidance: View your Microsoft Store order history - Microsoft Support.
If the PicsArt subscription does appear in your Microsoft order history (Microsoft billing platform):
- Cancel the subscription through your Microsoft account
- Go to Subscriptions and sign in with the same Microsoft account used when subscribing to PicsArt.
- Find the PicsArt (or related) subscription and select Manage.
- If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again.
- On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on how it appears).
- Follow the on‑screen instructions to complete cancellation.
- Check refund eligibility
- After cancellation, review if the subscription is eligible for a refund. Not all cancellations result in a refund, but eligibility can be checked following the guidance in the refund article: How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
- If located in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, or Turkey, there may be prorated refund rights depending on subscription length and renewal status. See the “countries with prorated refunds” link in the article.
If the PicsArt subscription does NOT appear in your Microsoft order history:
- Treat it as a non‑Microsoft billing platform subscription
- If the transaction is not in your Microsoft Store order history, it was likely made using a non‑Microsoft platform. In that case, Microsoft cannot cancel or refund it directly.
- Check which platform is actually billing you (for example, Google Play or Apple App Store) by reviewing the card/bank statement details and then:
- If it is Google Play: follow their refund and subscription management steps in Learn about Google Play refund policies.
- If it is Apple App Store: request a refund or manage the subscription via Apple support.
- If the subscription was purchased through a third‑party retailer
- If PicsArt was activated via a code or subscription purchased from a third‑party retailer (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.), subscription and billing must be managed with that retailer. Microsoft cannot cancel or adjust billing for subscriptions purchased through third parties.
- If charges still appear after cancellation or you cannot locate the subscription
- If the subscription is in your Microsoft account and cancellation is completed but charges continue, or if there is an unrecognized charge that you cannot match to any subscription, contact Microsoft Support for billing assistance:
- Go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter a billing issue description, select Get Help, then choose Contact Support.
- If the charge cannot be found in any Microsoft account and does not match a Microsoft order, contact the bank or card issuer to dispute the transaction as potentially fraudulent.
