    Dear @Ale C,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you would like to confirm whether your Acer Aspire 14 AI purchased from Costco qualifies for the Microsoft Ultimate College Bundle offer.

Please note that eligibility for the Ultimate College Bundle depends on the specific model/SKU and whether that device is included in the promotion. I recommend reviewing the official promotion page below for the eligibility requirements and participating devices: The Ultimate College Bundle for Students: Get Your Free Stuff with a Windows 11 College PC Purchase

Based on the eligibility requirements, Microsoft requires verification using a valid .edu email address from an accredited university or college in the U.S. in order to redeem the offer benefits.

Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated. Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day!

The Acer Aspire 14 AI from Costco does not automatically qualify for any Microsoft “ultimate college bundle” unless the specific offer from the seller clearly states that a full, non‑trial Microsoft 365 or Office license is included. If the advertising or packaging did not explicitly say that licensed Microsoft 365/Office is part of the bundle, only a trial version is normally preinstalled and a separate subscription must be purchased.

If the Costco offer or Acer’s product page clearly promised a full Microsoft 365/Office license (not just a trial), contact Costco or Acer support and ask them to provide the license or activation details, because the license comes from the vendor, not from Microsoft.

Regarding the college email: many valid colleges do not use “.edu” domains. For Microsoft 365 Education or other student offers, eligibility is based on whether the school participates in the program and whether the school email domain is recognized, not strictly on “.edu”. To check:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 Education sign‑up page at https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office.
    2. Enter the college email address and select Get started.
    3. If the school is eligible, follow the prompts to verify and activate the free Education subscription.
    4. If the school is not recognized or eligibility is denied, contact the school’s IT/admin to confirm whether they participate, or follow the guidance under “My school isn’t eligible. What do I do now?” in the referenced documentation.

If the school ultimately is not eligible, commercial Microsoft 365 subscriptions can still be purchased separately, and the device itself can be used normally with any Microsoft account.
