My Microsoft store won't open, if you open it the first time it opens, but it's just showing the logo it won't enter the app, then if you close it and try to open it again, it won't open. I've tried many things to fix it, I've done window + R, but it just says operation timeout or file system not found, I've tried terminal admin, but it just stays at initialized screen for more than an hour. I've also tried the terminate, repair and reset but nothing is happening and if I even want to download from the web it has to by-pass Microsoft first and it's not loading, IDK what to do again, my Microsoft store won't open pls help

Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Widows user.

Ensure Windows is running the latest version.

    Please try these cmds:

Right click on start & choose powershell/terminal with admin & type/copy & paste these cmds one at a time then click Enter:

    SFC /SCANNOW

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    SFC /SCANNOW

Yes the Sfc cmd is run twice.

Use these steps in order to fix Microsoft Store not opening or stuck on the logo in Windows 11, especially since wsreset and app reset have already been tried:

    1. Make sure Windows is fully updated
      1. Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
      2. Install all available updates and restart the PC.
      3. Try opening Microsoft Store again.
    2. Verify time, date, and region settings
      1. Go to Settings > Time & language.
      2. Ensure Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are turned on.
      3. Confirm the Region matches the actual country/region.
      4. Restart the PC and try the Store again.
    3. Sign in with a Microsoft account and update Microsoft Store
      1. Confirm Windows is signed in with a Microsoft account (not a local account).
      2. If the Store opens at least once (even stuck on logo), after it finally loads:
        • Select Library > Get updates to update Microsoft Store and all apps.
    4. Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (if available)
      1. Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters (or similar path depending on build).
      2. Find Windows Store Apps and select Run.
      3. Apply any fixes it suggests and then test the Store.
    5. If Store apps still fail to start If Microsoft Store or other Store apps begin to start and then close or never fully load, and basic fixes do not help, this can be caused by modified default registry or file permissions. In that case, follow the guidance for Store app failures for IT-style repair, or, if uncomfortable editing system settings, back up data and consider a repair install of Windows so default permissions are restored.

If after these steps Microsoft Store still will not open or remains stuck on the logo, use the guidance under “Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store” for Windows 11 and work through all listed fixes (update Windows, confirm app compatibility, update Microsoft Store, repair/reset apps, and reinstall apps) and, if necessary, escalate to support with details of the error messages like “operation timeout or file system not found.”
