HOW TO CHANGE COLOR FOR REMAINING BATTERY STATUS ON DESKTOPS

Thank you for sharing your question. I understand that you would like to change or customize the color of the remaining battery status shown on the desktop/taskbar.

At the moment, Windows does not provide a built-in setting that lets users manually choose a custom color for the battery status indicator.

Since this is more of a Windows feature request, I recommend submitting it through the Feedback Hub so the Windows product team can review it:

• Press Windows key + F to open Feedback Hub.
• Choose Suggest a feature.
• Use a clear title, such as “Allow users to customize the battery status color on desktop/taskbar.”
• Add details about what you would like to change, for example whether you want custom colors for low battery, charging, full battery...
• Search for similar feedback first and upvote it if one already exists or submit a new suggestion if you do not find a matching one.

Feedback Hub is the best place to send this type of design or customization request, as it helps Microsoft understand which Windows features users would like to see improved.

Windows does not provide a setting to change the color of the built‑in battery status icon on the desktop taskbar or lock screen. The battery indicator’s appearance (including color) is controlled by the operating system and cannot be customized through standard personalization or power settings.

Battery status can be viewed in these fixed UI locations:

• Lock screen battery icon
• Battery icon on the desktop taskbar / time-and-date area
• Battery information in Settings > System > Power & battery (or Battery Saver/Energy Saver pages)

These elements show charge level and power source, but their colors are not user-configurable.
