To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Go to the Formulas tab in Excel.
- Click on Error Checking > Circular References.
- Select the highlighted cell from the list (e.g., D1). Excel will automatically take you directly to the cell that contains the issue.
- Once redirected, review the formula and either modify the formula to remove the self-reference, or delete the formula if it is not needed
After correcting or removing the formula, the error should be resolved.
