This explains itself:

User's image

As you can see, I have inputted some (working) code into Loop's code thingamajig, and even specified that it was Python code, but the Preview option is grayed out.

This may be because it is text-based, and that it doesn't involve anything with pygame or stuff like that that uses UI.

If somebody knows how to help, please respond.

Sincerely,

    Dear @Elliot Adams,

Thank you for your patience. I wanted to provide an update on this issue, as we've found that sometimes the cause can be corrupted local browser data rather than platform-related, especially when you're trying to render visual code elements.

If the "Preview" or "Horizontal split view" options are grayed out or unclickable, please try clearing your browser cache to force Microsoft Loop to reload its rendering components correctly.

You can follow these official guides to clear your cache, depending on the browser you are using:

Before clearing your cache, you can verify if a cache conflict is causing the problem by opening Microsoft Loop in an InPrivate (Edge) or Incognito (Chrome) window. If the Preview option becomes clickable and works normally there, it confirms that clearing your standard browser cache will permanently resolve the issue.
I found a similar post on the forum regarding your issue, I hope it proves helpful to you: Microsoft Loop — Mermaid Preview grayed out: "Preview" and "Split Mode" options not clickable (I hope you understand that, as this article was written by other members, it adheres to the original information and language of the post)

Please try these steps and let me know if the Preview feature starts working for you!
