Updating the contact email used when registering an AZ‑305 exam with Pearson VUE requires direct support from the certification teams; it cannot be changed from the Learn profile alone.

    Take these steps:

    1. Confirm the correct Microsoft Learn profile
      • Sign in to the intended Learn profile and verify the Contact Email under profile settings, as this is where certification communications are normally sent.
    2. Work with Pearson VUE if the Pearson account email is wrong
      • If the wrong email is stored in the Pearson VUE testing profile or was used during payment, Pearson VUE support must correct or unlock that account before further scheduling can proceed. Previous cases show that Pearson VUE can unlock or adjust accounts when registration details cause issues.
    3. Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
      • If Pearson VUE cannot resolve the issue, submit a ticket to Microsoft Credentials Support describing that the AZ‑305 registration used an incorrect contact email on the “Transfer to Pearson VUE” page and that Pearson VUE has directed escalation to Microsoft.
      • Use the dedicated credentials support channel to request correction of exam registration details or assistance with rescheduling under the correct email.
    4. If the certification does not appear after the exam
      • If the exam has already been taken and passed but the certification or exam record is missing from the Learn profile, follow the “Missing Exams or Certifications” guidance: verify the correct Learn account is being used and, if still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for alignment of the exam record with the correct profile.
