Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Baez,
Good day. It sounds like this situation has been challenging, and your concern is clearly heard.
Based on my research, this issue appears to be related to an ongoing service incident affecting Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, identified by Microsoft as Issue ID: CW1391746. As part of this incident, some users may be unable to submit prompts and may instead receive the error message “Something went wrong.” In some cases, Copilot may begin generating a response successfully at first, but the response may then disappear and be replaced by the same error message.
According to the latest service health update, the issue began on June 12, 2026. Microsoft has identified that a recently deployed internal service build is causing the impact. Furthermore, Microsoft is currently rolling back to the last known good build on a portion of the affected infrastructure in order to confirm that this action resolves the problem. Once that validation is complete, the rollback will continue across all impacted infrastructure.

At this stage, there is likely no additional action required on your part. Although I understand that this experience can be inconvenient, especially when Copilot appears to be working and then fails before completing the response, the available information indicates that the resolution must come from Microsoft’s side. Accordingly, once the rollback has been completed and the service has stabilized, Copilot should begin functioning normally again without requiring further changes to your device or settings.
That said, I kindly hope you can remain patient a little longer while the engineering teams continue working hard to fully restore the best possible experience for all users.
Also, since many others in the community may still be unaware of this incident, if you found this information helpful, please mark the answer as “Accept answer”. This will help surface the post to the top so others facing similar issues can easily find it.
