After a Windows update last week, Windows will not accept my PIN. I do get a window to verify my PIN, but do not receive the Code to proceed.

    Hi Jack Bertoli,

    Thank you for the details.

From your description, it appears that Windows is prompting you to verify your PIN, but the verification code is not being received, which prevents you from completing the process.

To better guide you, could you please confirm whether you’re able to sign in using your password or another sign-in option, or if you’re currently stuck on the sign-in screen?

If you can sign in using your password, you can try removing and recreating the PIN from Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, as this can help if the PIN data was affected by the recent update.

If you’re unable to sign in at all, please let me know, as we may need to try recovery options such as Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).

In addition, since you’re not receiving the verification code, I recommend checking that your Microsoft account security information (email/phone) is up to date and accessible and trying a different network or disabling VPN, as these can sometimes affect code delivery.

Please let me know how you're currently accessing the device and I’ll tailor the next steps accordingly.
