    Dear @Sahar,

To ensure I understand your request correctly and to support you as effectively as possible, I need more specific information from you:

    • Have you ever experienced this issue before, or this is the first time?
    • Did other users (colleagues, classmates) affected?
    • Does this issue happen on web version too?
    • Is it only one assignment or all?

In the meantime, kindly try these steps:

Try to upload your work to assignments tab on Teams web.

If web works, you have to repair the Teams app.

    • Right-click Teams icon in system tray (bottom right) > click Quit
    • Reopen Teams and try upload again.
    • Click your profile picture (top right) > select Sign out > close Teams completely > open again > sign in
    • Please refer to this article to clear Teams cache. Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

If the issue still happened on web, it is likely permissions issue. In this case, please contact your teacher (if you are a student) or your IT Admin (if you are a teacher) to check your permissions.

In addition, kindly help me to upload to a different assignment or re-attach file again to check if the issue persists.

I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.

Check these points step by step:

    1. Confirm file size and count
      • In integrated assignment experiences (like Schoology/Canvas with Teams), only up to 10 files can be attached and each file must be 500 MB or smaller when using +Add work.
      • If the file is larger than 500 MB or there are already 10 attachments, remove some files or compress/split the file and try again.
    2. Try attaching work correctly
      • Open the assignment from the Assignments tab (or from Schoology/Canvas if that’s how the class is set up).
      • Use +Add work to upload the file, then wait for the upload to complete before selecting Turn in.
    3. If the file is a large media file (like a video)
      • Upload the video to Microsoft 365 (for example via Clipchamp) so it’s stored in OneDrive/SharePoint instead of attaching it directly to the assignment.
      • Then share a link to the video in the assignment instead of uploading the full file, which reduces upload issues and bandwidth usage.
    4. If the upload still fails
      • Check internet connection or try a different network.
      • If the problem persists for all files and assignments, contact the school’s IT admin or teacher; they may need to check OneDrive/Teams configuration in the tenant.
