The message means Microsoft’s system has already recorded that key as used, and the partial email shown is the account it was attached to. Since you bought it from Machines, an authorized reseller, this should be handled as a purchase/redemption dispute, not as a normal activation problem.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
First, check whether your @gmail.com could be one of your own Gmail/Microsoft sign-in aliases. If you have more than one Microsoft account, sign in to each one at the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page and see whether the Office/Microsoft 365 product appears there.
If that email is definitely not yours, contact Machines again and ask them to escalate it as an already-redeemed Microsoft product key case through their reseller/distributor channel. Give them the receipt, product card/box, the exact error code, the correlation ID, and the timestamp. Do not send the full key in a public forum.
It is also recommended that you contact Microsoft Support and provide the same proof of purchase. Ask them to verify the redemption status of the key and whether it was redeemed before your purchase date. If support confirms it was already redeemed by another account, ask Machines for a replacement key or refund, because the retailer is the party that can validate the stock and sale record.
