Hi,

I'm unable to access OneDrive using my company account. I receive the message:

"You don't have access to this service. For help, contact your IT department."

Error Code: 0x8004DEEF

Could you please verify that my Microsoft 365 account has the appropriate OneDrive license assigned and that OneDrive has been provisioned for my account?

Thank you.

    Hi @Erika Andonie,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding the error code 0x8004DEEF, this issue is often related to licensing or account configuration. I recommend reaching out to your IT administrator to verify that you have the appropriate license assigned for accessing OneDrive.

You can ask your IT admin to check this by following these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and select Users > Active users.
    2. Select the affected user.
    3. In the user pane, choose Licenses and apps.
    4. Expand the Licenses section and ensure that a valid OneDrive license is assigned.

Please note that as a forum moderator, I do not have access to your organization’s tenant. Only your IT administrator can review and assign licenses within your environment.

Alternatively, you may try clearing cached account identities:

    1. Open Registry Editor. User's image
    2. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
    3. Right-click Identity, then select Delete. User's image

If the issue persists, you can also remove cached credentials by following these steps:

    1. Sign out of OneDrive.
    2. Delete all subfolders in the following locations:
    • %localappdata%/Microsoft/IdentityCache User's image
      • %localappdata%/Microsoft/OneAuth

Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
