A cloud-based service included in Microsoft 365, delivering scalable messaging and collaboration features with simplified management and automatic updates.
Hello @John Looka
I’d like to first clarify that this is a user‑to‑user support forum, and we are not Microsoft Support. Moderators here do not have backend access and cannot directly intervene in Microsoft services or perform escalations. We can only share technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations based on reported scenarios.
To better understand your issue, may I ask which rejected email message you are seeing? Typically, the error code in the rejection notice can help identify why the email was rejected. If possible, please share the error code or a screenshot of the message (please make sure to hide any personal information to protect your privacy).
For better assistance, could you also confirm:
- Are you using a personal account (Hotmail, Outlook.com, Live) or a business account (company domain)?
- Are you able to send emails successfully, or is sending also affected?
At the mailbox level, please double‑check the following:
- Junk Email folder
- Other tab (if Focused Inbox is enabled)
- Inbox rules that might move or delete messages
- Mail forwarding, in case messages are being redirected elsewhere
If you are an IT admin, have you tried checking your domain health in the Microsoft 365 admin center to confirm whether it’s healthy? You can review this here: https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/Domains Please also verify that your MX, DKIM, and DMARC records are still configured correctly and haven’t changed recently.
In addition, I recommend running a message trace to see whether incoming emails are reaching your tenant but not being delivered to the mailbox: https://admin.cloud.microsoft/exchange#/messagetrace
Hope this helps. Let me know what you find, especially the error message to narrow down the cause.
