Hi Wahome Macharia,
If Bluetooth is still unavailable even after installing updates, it may be that Windows is not currently detecting the Bluetooth adapter rather than the update itself resolving the issue. Based on the information shared so far, the next step is to verify whether the Bluetooth hardware is being detected by Windows.
Please try the following checks:
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Click View > Show hidden devices.
- Check whether a Bluetooth category appears.
- If you see a Bluetooth adapter with a warning icon, right-click it and select Uninstall device, then restart your PC.
- If there is no Bluetooth category at all, check whether Bluetooth Support Service is running:
- Press Windows + R, type
services.mscand press Enter. - Locate Bluetooth Support Service.
- Ensure the Startup type is set to Automatic and the service is Running.
- Press Windows + R, type
To help identify the cause more accurately, could you please share more information as suggested by the Independent Advisor:
- Your PC make and model
- A screenshot of Device Manager with Show hidden devices enabled
- Whether the Bluetooth toggle is visible under Settings > Bluetooth & devices
With those details, we can narrow down whether this is related to the driver, system configuration, or Bluetooth hardware detection.
