Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook on the web for business

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.Based on your description, you are unable to remove the message preview in Outlook because the “Off” option is missing.
Which version of account are you using (personal account or business account)?
Does this issue happen in all folders (Inbox, Sent, etc.) or only in a specific folder?
Are other users in your organization experiencing the same issue?
In the meantime, here are some suggestions you can try to check:
Check the View menu in New Outlook (web version)
- Open Outlook
- Go to View tab
- Select Message Preview
- Choose Hide preview text.
Check Outlook Settings
- Click Settings in the top-right
- Go to Mail > Layout
- Scroll to Message list format
- Uncheck Show preview text and save
This is the standard method to disable message preview text
You could change the Reading Pane via View > Reading Pane > "Popout only" to see if it fits your needs.
