Missing animation for desktop switch

I used an app to assign keyboard shortcuts to side mouse buttons to switch desktops on windows 10 (win+ctrl+ arrow) and it had a slide left or right animation but there's nothing on the new windows 11 which is annoying because I sometimes can't navigate properly. Although trackpad swipe still works the same. Is it just me or is there a fix?

    One year later, still not fixed. How can one of the biggest companies in the world only hire incompetent enginners like this. Here is single developer on Github which made a fix Microsoft could not: https://github.com/sanketkheni01/Windows11-desktop-switch-animation
