Based on your description, when using Outlook Classic, the application closes automatically whenever you right-click.
Please try the following steps and let me know whether the issue is resolved:
- Check Outlook on the web
- Please try using Outlook on the web and verify whether you experience the same behavior.
- Create a new Outlook profile
- Step 1: Completely close Outlook.
- Step 2: Open Control Panel
- Step 3: Select Mail (Microsoft Outlook) > Show Profiles.
- Step 4: Click Add to create a new profile.
- Step 5: Select the newly created profile and choose Always use this profile.
After that, open Outlook again and check whether the issue still occurs.
- Test with a different mouse
- Additionally, please try using a different mouse to determine whether the issue may be related to the hardware device.
Additionally, there is a known issue that has been acknowledged by Microsoft. When you right-click an email in Classic Outlook, the application may unexpectedly crash. You can find more information in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center under issue ID EX1409958.
