@D B ,
Let me start with explaining the part for which you already have seen multiple articles on google as mentioned. Azure AD makes it possible to let users with Facebook accounts be able to logon to the azure active directory instance and access any applications as needed. This is primarily because Azure AD allowed for external Identities and trusts facebook's authentication system . It provides the Azure AD administrator to decide whether they would like to allow facebook logon or not .
However Facebook does not allow logon through any external Identity system like github/linkedin/AzureAD etc. However Workplace by facebook can be integrated to your azure AD as a SaaS application . You can setup automatic user provisioning from Azure AD to Workplace by Facebook as well .
re about facebook workplace by facebook if it allows such external logons. In order for you to be able to logon to facebook using Azure AD credentials , the Facebook should trust Azure AD and accept the authentication tokens issued by azure AD to allow logon for the user. However since FB does not trust external identities system what you are trying to do is not possible at this point . I understand this is not the answered you needed but this is by-design and I do not think you will be ale to achieve your goals with public version of facebook . You can try to check Workplace by facebook for this as it allows for this kind of settings . In case the post is useful , please do accept this post as answer so that it can be useful for other members of the community with similar queries. If you still have any further queries on azure ad integration , do let us know and we will be happy to help .
Thank you.
