Hello,

I have tried the reset and unlink methods to no avail. In other words, I completed all steps on both of my computers outlined on the following url: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5325083/how-do-i-fix-syncing-issue-between-devices?from=ContactUsWebBCQR&CorrelationId=926716b9-5f97-4393-9ec6-4839a04d6a5b

I have identified my laptop as the problem PC due to that having the most recient file updates and not seeing those updates online. My desktop is the other pc.

Thanks.

    Hello P J

If I understand correctly, you’re having trouble with OneDrive syncing between your laptop and Windows desktop. You suspect the laptop could be the problem device because the most recent file changes made there are not showing in OneDrive online or syncing to the desktop.

Please first confirm that the laptop is signed in with the same Microsoft account as OneDrive online, your storage is not full, and the affected files do not have unsupported characters or very long file paths.

Next, check the sync status on both devices. Select the OneDrive cloud icon near the clock and see whether it shows any error, paused status, “Processing changes,” or “Sync pending.” If available, go to OneDrive > Help & Settings > View sync problems and check whether any specific file names or error messages are listed. From the sync status icon, you can then follow the suggested steps in this Microsoft article: Fix OneDrive sync problems.

If the laptop still does not upload changes after confirming the above, you can try one additional step to clear OneDrive’s cached sign-in settings on both devices. This may help if OneDrive is still using old or stuck sign-in information after reset or unlink/relink.

    1. Press the Windows key WindowsLogo + R to open a "Run" dialog.
    2. Enter the path %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings and select OK.
    3. Delete the PreSignInSettingsConfig.json file.
    4. After deleting the file, restart OneDrive and sign in again so it can recreate the sign-in settings fresh.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
