How can the microphone be pinned, using Windows 11, so it is always available?

If by "pinning the microphone" you mean having quick access to microphone controls in Windows 11, there is currently no built-in option to permanently pin a microphone button to the desktop or taskbar. However, you can make microphone settings easier to access in a few ways.

The Microphone icon on the Taskbar cannot be pinned permanently, that icon is a security feature hard-coded in the operating system to alert the user that their Microphone is being used by some app.
