My copilot library images all of a sudden are missing. Hundreds of hours of work lost. How can I retrieve them?

    Hi Arlington Remodeling Group,

I understand how upsetting this must be, especially if you spent hundreds of hours creating and organizing those images.

To help narrow this down, could you please confirm a few details?

    • Are you using a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?
    • Were those images created in the Copilot app on Windows, on copilot.microsoft.com, or through Microsoft 365 Copilot/Create?
    • Is the entire Library empty, or are only some images missing?
    • Do you see any error message, endless loading, or is the Images tab missing completely?
    • Have you recently switched accounts, updated the app, or changed anything related to your Microsoft 365/Copilot access?

In the meantime, please try the following:

    • Sign out of Copilot completely, then sign back in with the same account you used when creating those images.
    • Check the Library from the web version as well, not only from the Windows app. If you use Microsoft 365 Copilot, go to Microsoft 365 on the web, then open Library > Images.
    • Try another browser or an InPrivate/Incognito window to rule out a browser cache or session issue.
    • If you use more than one Microsoft account, please check each account, as the images may be tied to the account that originally created them.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors do not have access to your Copilot Library, account storage, or backend systems, so we cannot directly restore missing images from here.

While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
