The process of installing, configuring, and customizing Visual Studio to support development workflows across languages, platforms, and workloads.
Hello @Mike Davis ,
Thanks for your question.
I understand you want to reset your Developer Sandbox so you can start fresh. However, Microsoft only allows one Microsoft 365 Developer sandbox per Visual Studio subscription.
There is no "reset" or "start over" button to get a brand-new sandbox. Please do not try to delete your developer profile. If you delete your profile, you will lose your developer subscription and all associated data. You will need to wait 60 days before you can set up a new one.
Since you are seeing a "user is not valid" error, you are likely just locked out. You can refer to following steps:
- Open a Private or Incognito browser window: Sometimes your computer gets confused between your normal company IT email and your
.onmicrosoft.comsandbox email. Using a Private window stops this confusion. - Reset your password: Go to the normal Microsoft login page, enter your
**\*\***@ss4c3.onmicrosoft.comemail, and click "Forgot my password". You can use the backup email or phone number you provided when you first created the sandbox to reset it.
For additional information, please refer to Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ.
Please try and let me know if it works. I'd be happy to investigate further if needed.
I hope this addresses your question. If this response was helpful, please consider following the guidance to provide feedback.
