Managing meetings and events using Outlook on the web for business
Hi Rosario,
Good day, and thank you for the detailed description of your concern.
I conducted a test based on the scenario you described and would like to share what I found.
I created two test services, one named "3" and the other "4", and assigned the same two staff members to both services.
For service"3", I went to:
- Services > 3 > Edit service > Basic details and set the Duration to 1 hour.
Under the Availability section, I selected Bookable when staff are free.
I then created a test booking for service"3" on July 27 and selected one of the staff members at 9:00 AM.
After that, I opened the booking page for service"4" and selected the same staff member and the same date.
When I attempted to create another booking, the 9:00 AM time slot was not available. The earliest available time shown was 10:00 AM.
Based on this behavior, Bookings appears to recognize that the staff member already has an appointment during that time period and prevents the same staff member from being booked for another service at the same time when the service is configured as Bookable when staff are free.
You may wish to perform a similar test in your environment and see whether the behavior meets your scheduling requirements.
I hope this information is useful. Thank you for taking the time to raise this question. If you need any further clarification or assistance, please feel free to leave a comment under this post.
