Migration from SSAS 2005 to SSAS 2019

Please provide inputs for migrating cubes from SSAS 2005 to 2019 version.

The cubes are to be deployed to a new server. Are there any premigration checklists to be noted?

Please provide information on the common upgrade issues

    Thanks for your posting.

    If you just migrate SSAS 2005 to 2019, I suggest that back up the old version and then restore to new version. For more information, please refer to below links:

    And is it your data source is SQL Server Database? If yes, you should also to check the Prerequisites for SQL Server. For more information, please refer to Upgrade SQL Server to SQL Server
